Known also as May Chang oil, Litsea Cubeba essential oil has beneficial uses ranging from mood enhancement to a digestive aid.

With its roots originating in Chinese medicine, the leaves, bark and roots of the litsea cubeba plant have long been used for its natural medicinal qualities. The use of this plant as an essential oil, in which the peppercorn-like pods are steamed in order to extract the oil, is actually relatively new.

Discovering the uses of litsea cubeba essential oil has helped it become a common essential oil that may become a mainstay in your essential oil collection. Here are a few of the uses for litsea cubeba essential oil:
